Past Events

A gala filled with the classics from operetta to bring in the New Year. Arias and duets by Lehar, Strauss and Millöcker will definitely feature.

Pasta Opera invites audiences in the world of Rococo - not like in the movie, no - quite real experiences of the magic of music and the fine words from opera..

In the relaxed atmosphere of a luxurious feast glasses are emptied, letters hidden, jackets exchanged, tears dried, dance, intrigue, and a disappearance into the broom closet.

You experience first hand the touching moments of love and transience, and moments of the sheer joy of life. Julia Regehr and four vocal virtuosos have created a joyful work that connects the twin worlds of classical music and entertainment.

Tenor - Maximilian Fied

Bass - Benjamin Hewat-Craw

Conductor - Jannik Schroeder

The elf Aubergina has slurped too much nectar and wakes up on top of a box with a hangover. Due to her curiosity she opens the box and finds in it the singer Salvatore Samarotti. He has hidden there from the diva coloratura soprano Carlotta Spitzantini. According to the Elven Law, people who are lost in the world of elves must do whatever the elves demand of them. And Vanillia Aubergina demands a lot from Salvatore Samarotti. But she does not understand why he needs an accompaniment or a grand piano to sing properly, why she cannot sing a scale, and what the high 'C' is all about. Together with Aubergina, we learn what opera is all about, why the singers sing differently than we do and how opera works.
